Williamsburg, Virginia Hiring Range $33.00 - $66.00/Hourly Actual pay is determined by program, work commitment and business needs PRN A Flexible Hours Available Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, as applicable. Assesses, plans, implements, and executes delivery of resident care and directs all activities in order to provide quality service to assure positive resident outcomes.
Maintains close contact with residents, families and staff while coordinating nursing services with all other disciplines.
Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need. Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed to assure quality resident care is delivered. Develops, implements and evaluates resident plans of care.
Communicates plan of care to providers, residents, families and staff. Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation following the Interact process. Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills. Demonstrates the ability to manage a typical nursing unit. Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
Qualifications Experience 6 Months Long Term Care (LTC) Experience (Required) or 2 years LPN Experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) or Assisted Living (AL) Setting or 1 year RN Experience (Required) Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required) CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required) Other Requirements Weekend Shifts Irregular Shifts To learn more about being a team member with Riverside Health System visit us at https://www.riversideonline.com/careers .
