FT Nights How you’ll make an impact in this role Clinical Care & Assessment: Monitor vital signs, perform clinical assessments, and manage pediatric care across 3rd and 4th floor units. Specialized Interventions: Administer medications, chemotherapy, biotherapy, central line care, NG tubes, tracheostomies, chest tubes, and phlebotomy. Family Communication: Explain care plans clearly to families and advocate for patient-centered pediatric care.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with specialists, physicians, and care teams; support rapid response and safety protocols. Care Coordination : Manage shift assignments, admissions, discharges, and patient workflow. Mentorship: Orient and precept new nursing staff and associates.
What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
