About the role

What you’ll do
Manage direct preoperative and/orManage direct preoperative and/or postoperative care of assigned patients that are scheduled for surgery
Perform all aspects ofPerform all aspects of care within the nursing scope of practice per the Alabama Board of Nursing
Ensure all surgical patientsEnsure all surgical patients are appropriately prepared and optimized for surgery
Appropriately recover all postoperativeAppropriately recover all postoperative patients at the bedside per ASPANs guidelines and actively assist patient’s in returning to their pre-anesthesia state
Collaborate with physicians, surgeonsCollaborate with physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, technologist, and other hospital personnel as necessary to provide quality patient care appropriately with all other members of the health care team
