Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.

Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a associates degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional requirements include: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) preferred. Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or Quality strongly preferred. Minimum Work
Three (3) to five (5) years diverse clinical practice in an acute care environment required. Previous performance improvement and/or large scale project management experience required. Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
