Maine Medical Partners Nursing Req #: 1515 Conveniently located in South Portland and easily accessible from both the I-95 and I-295, this MaineHealth Cancer Care Medical-Oncology practice provides innovative and state-of-the-art cancer care to patients throughout the Greater Portland region. Duties for this position are supporting the day-to-day operations such as care coordination, phone triage and clinical support to the oncologists and hematologists.
The ideal candidate for this position is interested in being part of a collaborative and dynamic team of professionals dedicated to providing highly specialized care in a busy (and growing!) practice. Compassion, empathy and positivity are required; previous oncology experience is preferred.
The Registered Nurse role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification require or must obtain within 30 days of start date. 3.
One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role. 4.
