You’ll need
Licensure
✓Health Services\RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the state of practice Upon Hire (Required)
Certifications
✓Health Services\BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or within Facility-Specified time frame (Required)
Health Services\OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification and or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification Upon Hire or within Facility-Specified time frame (Preferred)
Education
✓Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) from an accredited school of nursing (Required)
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or related field (Preferred)
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of oncology-specific treatments, side effects, and symptom management.
✓Strong patient education and interpersonal communication skills.
✓Competency in intravenous therapy and safe handling of chemotherapy agents.
✓Ability to assess physical and emotional needs of oncology patients.
✓Proficiency in EMR documentation and interdisciplinary communication.
✓1+ years medical/surgical nursing experience (Required)
Prior Experience in oncology nursing (Preferred)

About the role
Provides direct nursing care for oncology patients, including chemotherapy, blood product administration, and electrolyte replacement.
