The Role: The Cardiac Cath Lab RN operates in a fast-paced, procedure-driven setting that blends critical care nursing with advanced interventional cardiology support . In an average day, you will: Circulate and monitor during procedures including interventional cardiology cases, structural heart interventions, and emergent STEMI activations Manage patients with ICU-level acuity , requiring continuous monitoring and rapid response Work within a 4-person team model (2 RNs and 2 Techs) to ensure safe and seamless procedural flow Anticipate physician needs and support complex procedural workflows Handle specialized equipment and maintain procedural readiness Complete detailed documentation to support continuity and quality of care Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to urgent cardiac cases after hours This is a detail-oriented, high-energy role requiring strong clinical instincts, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
1 year of relevant experience.
Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping.
Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $42.69 - $56.71 hourly.
Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
