  • Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry 4 – Full-time, DaysBring your passion to Texas Health so we are better + togetherWork location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, every other weekend and rotating holidays Department highlights:25-bed Cardiac TelemetryOur Unit provides intermediate /telemetry level of care for CABG, MVR, TAVR, heart-failure, post-operative interventional cardiac care (Stents, Angioplasty, Cardiac Catheter) patients.815-bed MAGNET facilityLevel I Trauma CenterPrimary Heart Attack Center PHACThe department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skillsSelf-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growthRobust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership teamHere’s what you need:Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferredCLIAFE - must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency requiredCurrent RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hireBCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredACLS – within 90 days of hire required – expiration date greater than 3 months preferredCPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program requiredTele experience preferred - will consider Med/Surg experienceIn addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN willdemonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patientspossess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalismhave basic computer skills using medical management application systemsWhat You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • assesses the patient
  • plans the care of the patient

  • evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
