As a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) at Decatur Memorial Hospital, you’ll deliver advanced, life-saving care to critically ill patients while working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes. What You’ll Do: - Provide expert-level nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring rapid response and precise interventions. - Perform comprehensive assessments and collaborate with physicians to implement complex treatment plans. - Monitor patients closely, administering medications, IV fluids and advanced life-support interventions as needed. - Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment for patients with complex medical conditions. - Offer compassionate support to patients and families, providing education and guidance during critical moments. - Foster seamless coordination among healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. - Stay at the forefront of critical care nursing through continuous education and hands-on experience.

Who We’re Looking For: A skilled critical care nurse who thrives in high-pressure environments, demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and prioritizes patient safety. Education, Licensures &
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Licensed RN in Illinois - Current BLS/CPR certification - ACLS and PALS certification required per policy
- Critical care, ICU, or emergency nursing experience preferred - Strong ability to manage high-acuity patients and complex care situations Pay Transparency $30.23 - $48.37 Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
