Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Make an immediate impact in a fast-paced emergency care environment. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Care Center at Decatur Memorial Hospital, you’ll provide life-saving care, coordinate treatments and support patients during critical moments. Work alongside a skilled team where every decision matters and every second counts.
What You’ll Do: - Provide expert emergency nursing care, rapidly assessing and stabilizing patients in critical conditions. - Work collaboratively with emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement fast, effective treatment plans. - Administer life-saving interventions, including medications, IV fluids and advanced resuscitation techniques. - Support trauma response efforts, assisting in high-acuity cases and critical procedures. - Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions and preventive care strategies. - Stay sharp in a high-intensity setting, continuously expanding your skills through hands-on experience and professional development.

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Licensed RN in Illinois - Current BLS/CPR certification - ACLS and PALS certification required per policy
- Emergency nursing, trauma or critical care experience preferred - Strong decision-making skills in high-stress situations Pay Transparency $30.23 - $48.37 Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
