• Nights (7:00 pm
• 7:00 am; Three – 12 Hours Shift) for 36 hrs./week. Self-scheduling, no set schedules and rotating daysLabor & Delivery highlights:· 17
• LDR’s (Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms)· 4 OR suites· 350
• 400 deliveries per month on average· Separate Antepartum/High Risk OB departmentHere’s What You Need· Associate degree Nursing required or Nursing Diploma· BSN (Preferred)· 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program (Required)· 1 Year of Labor & Delivery experience or L&D Residency (Strongly Preferred)· Baby catching experience (Helpful)· Charge Nurse Labor & Delivery experience (Preferred)· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (Required) And· NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days (Required) And· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days (Required) And· IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring 6 Months (Required upon hire) And· NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days (Required) And· CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req

· Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
