Time Registered Nurse for the High
Risk Labor and Delivery Unit. This is a rotating shift position, 36 hours per week. Preferred applicants will have experience specifically in Labor and Delivery. At Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, home to the region’s Level I Trauma Center and the Maternal Transfer Center for Hampton Roads, our Beacon award-winning Labor and Delivery Unit offers a fast-paced, high-acuity, and rewarding practice. Our nurses are cross trained to scrub, circulate, recover, and labor/deliver, providing comprehensive surgical and obstetrical care. Supported by a collaborative team of physicians, resident physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, surgical techs, and administrative staff, we deliver seamless, patient-centered care. As a teaching hospital for resident physicians, we provide hands-on learning opportunities, mentorship, and professional growth. State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire NRP within 6 months of hire. PALS within 6 months of hire. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
