✓Must have valid NJ RN License.
Qualifications
✓36hrs/6 weeks per JNESO union requirement - 27 visits for home health.
✓Productivity – 6 visits required for an 8-hour shift; 8 visits required for a 10-hour shift.
✓Weekend Requirement – 1 weekend day required per 6-week schedule.
✓Holiday Requirement – 2 special holidays per year. (Level 1 Per Diem nurses must make themselves available each year to work for at least two (2) special days
✓“special days” for the day shift are defined as: Easter, Mother’s Day, Halloween, the day after Thanksgiving, the day before Christmas and the day after Christmas
✓“special days” for the night shift (starting at 7:00 p.m. of the day of the special day) are defined as: Easter, Mother’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.)
✓First initial week of training is Monday – Friday, you would need to be able to accommodate full orientation.
✓RNs without Home Health experience will need an extended PT/FT training of about 4-6 weeks before dropping to a per diem schedule.
✓Approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board. Refer to the Educational/Regulatory Requirement (Department Specific) policy in the Nursing Administrative Manual.
✓Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards.
✓Perfects skills and stays abreast of current nursing practice through on-going education, journals, etc.
✓Must have strong communication skills.
✓Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers.
Any hours in addition to your 27 visits can be picked up in your preferred county.
