Here’s What You NeedEducation· Nursing Diploma required Or· Associate's Degree Nursing required Or· Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferredExperience· 2 years IR experience strongly preferred and/or 2 years ICU/ED strongly preferred if without IR experience. Licenses and Certifications· RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required And· NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required And· CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days requiredWhat You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
