More about our team Join the largest inpatient unit at Centerpoint – Georgetown! Our busy and dynamic Med/Surg unit features 20 private patient rooms and cares for an average daily census of 18 patients, with the flexibility to accommodate up to 25 patients when needed.
As a high-volume unit that discharges more than 100 patients each month, our team is at the heart of exceptional patient care and recovery. How you'll contribute A Med/Surg RN who excels in this role: Assesses the patient’s condition and nursing care needs Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients Develops individual nursing care plans Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed Evaluates patient care outcomes Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees Administers medications, treatments and therapies.
Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care. Provides patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to condition. Accurately documents nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given.

Free Parking What we're looking for Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional requirements include:
Associates Degree in Nursing, Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Preferred License: Current RN to practice in the state of (KY)
