How you'll contribute A Med/Surg RN who excels in this role: Assesses the patient’s condition and nursing care needs. Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients. Develops individual nursing care plans.
Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed. Evaluates patient care outcomes. Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees.
Administers medications, treatments and therapies. Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care. Provides patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to condition.
Accurately documents nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given.

What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional requirements include:
BCLS upon completion of hospital orientation; ACLS and PALS within six months of hire or transfer date to position.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
One-year previous experience preferred. Licenses: Must have a current Utah RN license in the state of practice or Compact License with Utah endorsement
