You’ll need
Licensure
✓Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio board of nursing. (Required proficiency)
✓Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire)
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire)
Education
✓Other Accredited Program: Completion of accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program. (Required)
Qualifications
✓2+ years Nursing Experience (Level II only) (Required)
✓Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices) (Required proficiency)
✓Level II Only: 18 CNE's per year. • 3 CNE’s in clinical specialty • At least 5 CNE’s in Leadership • Other CNE requirements will be agreed upon with manager
✓Level II Only: • 3 Peer Reviews. • Committee Involvement. • 5 criteria with evidence of each.

UH St John Medical Surgical - The Orthopedic, Spine, and Surgical Department is a 26-bed unit that focuses on providing care for patients requiring orthopedic, spine and/or general surgery.
