Night Shift
Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing. Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required. For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
Pediatric, Mother Baby, Medical/ Surgical Nursing experience preferred Required to have Life Support (BLS) Certification; required to complete NRP certification within 3 months of orientation. PALS certification will be required to be completed by end of orientation. CONTINUING EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medial staff.
This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time. Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEU’s for relicensure. Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of MGHP.
