The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults undergoing surgical and procedural interventions. The nurse serves as a patient advocate throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of care while supporting safe, family-centered, evidence-based surgical practice. Key
The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and to provide continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room. Required
BSN degree required or in progress Texas RN license 2+ years OR experience
CNOR highly preferred Scrub experience Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, orthopedic and spine experience a plus Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
