Registered Nurse (RN)

Provides safe therapeutic care while following the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care. Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data: follows the plan of care, standards, practice guidelines, or protocols.

Utilizes assessment data to identify patient care needs, to include patient education and continuum of care plan. Recognizes abnormal assessment data and incorporates findings into the plan of care: validates and revises expected outcomes based on assessment. Organizes and coordinates patient care activities to include procedures, therapies and tests, as indicated, to achieve the desired patient outcome.

Engages in basic caring practices to include patient education focusing on psychosocial and physiological needs and serves as a resource to the patient for immediate healthcare needs. Provides compassionate care and maintains patient privacy and confidentiality. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance patient outcome.

Supports unit quality/performance improvement. Will maintain current practices through utilization of evidence based research. Appropriately delegates tasks and provides direction to healthcare team members.

Missouri RN licensure required. (BLS) certification required. This position will be flexible with 4, 8 or 12 hours shifts available.
