About the role

As an PACU Registered Nurse, you will care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their consciousness, and manage pain and nausea. Communicate with patients and their families about post-operative care.

What you’ll do
Check blood pressure, heartCheck blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and temperature
Check the patient's levelCheck the patient's level of consciousness and orientation
Administer medications to treatAdminister medications to treat pain and nausea
Look for signs ofLook for signs of bleeding, low blood pressure, or arrhythmias
