How you'll contribute Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs. Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing License/Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice Active Kentucky license (single state or compact) required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. BCLS required.
