Certifications

✓BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND

✓ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AND

✓NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required AND

✓Texas Health HEB is ANCC Magnet Designated, Joint Commission-certified in Chest Pain (PHAC), a Primary Stroke Center, a Level III Trauma Center, Level II NICU and Level III for maternal care.

Education

✓Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR

✓Associate's Degree Nursing required OR

✓1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required

Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Qualifications
