Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse, for our Float Pool Level III who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Registered Nurse, Float Pool Level III you will:
- Assessment, planning, intervention & evaluation of patient care at the bedside.
- Documentation(electronic) of patient care and outcomes.
- Delegation of tasks to non-licensed personnel.
- Serves as a preceptor or mentor for new staff, externs or students.
- Participates in unit quality initiatives.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning.
- Pursues professional development and growth Qualifications include:
- Graduation from of an accredited nursing program
- 1 year of experience in relevant clinical area
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area Work
RN Level III Float Pool rate of $70/hour with commitment of [3] 12-hour shifts/week (nights). Under this Agreement, you will be considered a temporary/per diem worker. As such, you are eligible for medical and prescription insurance coverage under the Base Plan, only.
This medical plan is in compliance with the Affordable Care Act. You are also eligible to participate in the 403(b)-retirement plan. Employment Type: Per Diem Level III Hours per Week: 36 hrs/week Typical Daily
