You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
Certifications
✓American Heart Association BLS required.
✓American Heart Association ACLS required.
✓American Heart Association PALS required within 3 months of hire.
✓Dysrhythmia required within 3 months of hire.
National certification in area of specialty preferred.
Education
✓You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position. * BSN or MSN graduates preferred
Qualifications
✓Hired on or before May 31, 2013 -- IMC
✓Hired on or before August 4, 2015 – IMCW
✓Hired on or before May 31, 2023 – IMCM
✓Two (2) years Med/Surge experience required.
✓Two years (2) clinical experience in specialty area required for per diem positions.
✓Knowledge of anesthesia agent and their impact on the patient’s response.
✓Knowledge of discharge criteria.
✓Knowledge of specimen collection and disposition.
✓Knowledge of medication system and process.
✓Knowledgeable and utilizes Cerner and unit specific computer systems.
✓Knowledge of National Patient Safety Goals, procedures related to, and their application.
