Registered Nurse (RN) PRN – SurgeryBring your passion to Texas Health So We Are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway TX 75033Work hours: PRN – Monday-Friday Variable hours 0630-1900Surgery highlights:o Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team.o 8 Operating Rooms Including 3 Robotic Operating Roomso Center of excellence for Bariatric surgery Here’s What You Need · Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program· BSN preferred· One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.· RN with one year of Operating Room circulator experience in a hospital setting (preferred)· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) AND· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req

· Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
