You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS (within 6 months of hire for new grads only), TCAR required within 12 months of hire/transfer . For current employees/transfers who have TNCC, TCAR must be obtained by October 1, 2019.
Certifications
✓PALS for relief charge only.
✓Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education module within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit and must maintain thereafter.
CCRN preferred.
Education
BSN preferred.
