Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery Bring your passion for Texas Health So We Are Better + Together Work location:· Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery, 6020 W Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours:· PRN-As Needed/Days Variable Shifts - Monday and Tuesday availability preferred Surgery Department Highlights:· Self-Contained outpatient department providing pain management· Endoscopy and Lithotripsy procedures· Responsible for preparing patients, performing procedures and recovery· Fast paced and great team environment· Great opportunity to cross-train and career development· Strong UBC (Unit Based Council)· Monday-Fridays, no weekends, or holidaysHere’s What You Need:· Nursing Diploma required or· Associate’s Degree of Nursing required· Bachelor’s degree of Nursing preferred· 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required· Experience in a procedural area (pre, procedure, recovery) preferred· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required and· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and· ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire and· PALS – Pediatric Advance Life Support within 90 days of hire and· CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required· A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
