✓You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current valid NJ State professional Registered Nurse license .
Certifications
✓Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ( ACLS ) (obtainable within the first three months of employment) .
✓Pediatric Advanced Life Support ( PALS ) (obtainable within the first three months of employment) .
✓BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Education
✓Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 1+ year of experience as an RN in Med/Surg setting
✓Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Training .
✓Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, perform EKG, phlebotomy (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment) .
✓Ability to manage a patient’s airway including us of mechanical ventilation.
Experience with Epic. preferred
1+ year of experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care Unit preferred
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role. preferred
