You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Education
✓Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related
Qualifications
✓Registered Nurse with strong clinical assessment skills.
✓PICC, midline, and ultrasound-guided IV experience preferred but not required.
✓Knowledge of vascular access management, infection prevention, and quality improvement.
Two years of RN experience preferred

Perform PICC, midline, andPerform PICC, midline, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IV placement
Support difficult IV accessSupport difficult IV access, blood draws, line troubleshooting, and appropriate device selection
Provide care, maintenance, andProvide care, maintenance, and ongoing evaluation of central lines, PICCs, midlines, and hemodialysis catheters
Educate patients and clinicalEducate patients and clinical staff on vascular access care and evidence-based practices
Conduct chart audits, reviewConduct chart audits, review safety events, monitor documentation compliance, and support CLABSI-reduction efforts
