Certifications
✓BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
✓NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required
✓NRPA – Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required
Education
✓Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program OR Nursing Diploma required
✓One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), or completion of an RN residency program required.
BSN is preferred
Qualifications
✓CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
✓RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
✓CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training maintained annually within 90 days required.

- The Women’s Center at Texas Health Ft. Worth, a MAGNET , and Texas 10-Step facility, has previously been named “Best Place to Have a Baby” and is a Maternal Level IV designated facility
- Work hours: Full Time Nights (6:45PM-7:15AM) for 36 hours/week, with Weekend and holiday requirements. Women’s & Infants’ Services Department highlights:
- Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth
- Will float to Labor & Delivery (LDR), Mother/Baby (couplet care), Neonatal ICU (NICU) and Antepartum
- 18-bed LDR's, 5-bay OB/ED, 3 OR suites
- Average 275 + deliveries per month
- Wide range of patients and plan of care – water births, nitrous oxide, Midwifery and high-risk patients .
- 63-bed Level III NICU – low-risk NICU patients

- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
