Registered Nurse (RN) WISH Women’s & Infants’ Supplemental Help/Float PoolFull-time Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together · Work location: Texas Health Ft. Worth, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104· The Women’s Center at Texas Health Ft. Worth, a MAGNET, and Texas 10-Step facility, has previously been named “Best Place to Have a Baby” and is a Maternal Level IV designated facility· Work hours: Full Time Nights (6:45PM-7:15AM) for 36 hours/week, with Weekend and holiday requirements.

Women’s & Infants’ Services Department highlights:· Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth· Will float to Labor & Delivery (LDR), Mother/Baby (couplet care), Neonatal ICU (NICU) and Antepartum· 18-bed LDR's, 5-bay OB/ED, 3 OR suites· Average 275 + deliveries per month· Wide range of patients and plan of care – water births, nitrous oxide, Midwifery and high-risk patients.· 63-bed Level III NICU – low-risk NICU patients· 27-bed Mother/Baby, couplet care unitHere’s What You Need· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program OR Nursing Diploma required· BSN is preferred· CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required· One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), or completion of an RN residency program required.· 18 months or more of Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR) and Postpartum (Mother/baby, couplet care) setting or Float Pool/Resource RN experience strongly preferred· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required· NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required· NRPA – Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required· CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training maintained annually within 90 days required.

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
