Join Our Deaconess Team! We’re looking for compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Same Day Surgery team at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center. As part of our dedicated care team, you’ll provide safe, patient-centered care while working in a collaborative and supportive environment where your skills truly matter.
Job Overview: Day to day, you would be responsible for providing care to patients. Our nursing staff demonstrates their knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment. Services provided by the RN include; supervising care delivered, coordinating plans of care, and providing education for patients/families.
Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois Preferred Certification/License/Experience: 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience (minimum) Previous perioperative, PACU, pre-op, or med-surg experience is highly preferred Familiarity with pre-op assessments , monitoring post-anesthesia recovery , and discharge planning Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Hourly range $31.25-$46.88 Bonus: Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire. Incentives: Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes.
