Registered Nurse

Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of professional level of nursing duties for patients served in the clinical areas noted below. Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Completion of an accredited program of nursing Associate's degree in nursing Preferred Bachelor's degree in nursing Master's degree in nursing

Preferred Two (2) or more years of experience in nursing Required All Units: Registered Nurse (RN), with Authorization to Practice in the State of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required with ninety (90) days of start date Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) Certification required within six (6) months of start date Breastfeeding

Texas 10 Step required within ninety (90) days of start date Basic Breastfeeding Class required within one (1) year of start date Advanced Breastfeeding Class required within one (2) year of start date NICU (in addition to the above) STABLE Certification required within one (1) year of start date
