Qualifications Education Required Completion of an accredited program of nursing Associate's degree in nursing Preferred Bachelor's degree in nursing Master's degree in nursing
Preferred Two (2) or more years of experience in nursing Certification/Licensure: 5North/6North Required Registered Nurse (RN), with Authorization to Practice in the State of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within thirty (30) days of start date SAFE Level 3 Certification Required within one (1) year of start date Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Administration Certification (Charge Nurses Only): Required within two (2) years of charge nurse start date ONS – Chemo applies to 5North only Preferred Relevant national certification
