Day | Full Time How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead Licensed Registered Nurse team operations by coordinating staffing, patient assignments, and workflow to deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout each shift. Assess patient care needs and coordinate direct patient care assignments, ensuring appropriate care delivery and positive outcomes for diverse patient populations. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to nursing and support staff while promoting clinical excellence, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsible for ensuring daily service line needs are met, supporting the team through education, precepting, facilitating daily workflow, and equipment/supply needs. The OR supervisor aligns and partners with leadership in driving unit goals, safety/quality initiatives, patient and physician satisfaction, and in supporting a positive team culture. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences: Previous experience in Perianesthesia departments in both pre and post operative areas. 3 plus years of managerial experience. 1 plus years of OR RN experience with service line coordinator/supervisor experience. Vascular and kidney transplant experience.
Trauma/burn experience. This is a leadership role supervising the Vascular, Transplant, Burn, and Trauma service lines as well as circulating, precepting, and any additional administrative or operational tasks as needed. 40 hours per week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6:30pm - 5pm with on call rotation and holidays assigned on rotation.
