As a Nursing Supervisor at Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside , you'll serve as a key nursing leader, supporting staff, patients, and families while helping coordinate hospital operations and address immediate clinical and administrative needs. A master's degree in nursing is preferred. Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of pediatric clinical nursing experience, with at least two years of leadership experience preferred. Previous experience as a Nurse Leader is also preferred, and strong clinical, interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills are required.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider Certification is required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required for inpatient care units and, if not held at the time of hire, must be obtained within one year of hire for inpatient practice. Professional nursing certification in a relevant specialty, such as pediatric or rehabilitation nursing, is preferred.
Candidates must be prepared to provide clinical support when needed, frequently round throughout the hospital, and provide direction to professional nursing and ancillary personnel. This is a part-time, day shift Nursing Supervisor opportunity working 24 hours per week at Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside.
