Registered Nurse | Surgery

Find your purpose with CentraCare by changing the lives of our patients as a Registered Nurse in the Surgery Department at the Melrose Hospital! As an RN, you are responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Our registered nurses are responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established nursing practice standards.

In this role, you will collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Our RNs act as leaders working toward the achievement of goals and the mission of CentraCare Health - Melrose's high-quality care. This position will primarily work at the Melrose Hospital, but will require cross training and occasional coverage at the Paynesville Hospital.

Pay based on experience and degree Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $42.86 per hour Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $44.34 per hour Master’s in nursing starting at $45.82 per hour

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Current Minnesota RN license Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on-call situations To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation assistance, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position.

Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the Melrose Hospital and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment.
