Registered Nurse-Surgicare Center Post-Op, Per Diem Days

Plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned. Major Job FunctionsThe following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job.

We have 3 Operating Rooms and 2 Procedure rooms. Our care team consists of Pre-testing, Pre-Op, Post-Op, Recovery Room, Interventional Radiology, and OR nursing staff. We have twoPatient Care Manager.

We pride ourselves in our collaboration with the anesthesia team: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and Anesthesiologists, and we have an excellent working relationship with all our skilled Surgeons. We have a transfusion unit on the fifth floor. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1Our patients are all ages, ranging from pediatric to geriatricWork

Must have at least 1 year of post-op experience. ED or ICU experience will be considered.
