- The primary function of the Registered Nurse - PD is to provide supervision to all clinical staff as well as staff from other departments working during specified shift; Assist the Director of Nursing in directing and supervising Nursing Services concerned with resident care; Staffing coordinator of his/her shift; Evaluate and direct nursing care of resident and must be constantly available to the nurses in charge of the various units and know of changes in condition of resident and the indicated action. Required Other Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and currently licensed by the State of New York ***RNs who do not currently hold a BSN or higher degree in nursing must meet the educational requirements established by the State of New York (New York State’s BSN in 10 Law), including completion of a baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing within the timeframe required by applicable New York State law and regulations, unless otherwise exempt.
