- The Postpartum Nurse educates and assists the new mother with her physical and emotional needs during the post-partum period. They perform the dual role of caring for the infants and educating mothers about their care. Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
- Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
- Must obtain NRP within one year of hire
