PRN How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead specialized clinical care plans for patients with complex acute and chronic wounds, leveraging advanced therapies to accelerate healing and improve patient quality of life. Perform high-precision wound care interventions, including hyperbaric treatment coordination, wound VAC management, and advanced topical dressings to achieve optimal healing outcomes. Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams as the clinical wound specialist to optimize patient care trajectories from assessment through discharge.
Empower patients and families through tailored education on home care routines, preventive techniques, and long-term wound management for sustained wellness. Document clinical progress and treatment outcomes with meticulous precision, ensuring compliant health records and driving continuous care quality across settings. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
Certification specializing in Wound Care credentialed from the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCCB) preferred.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
