Certifications
✓American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
✓Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
✓In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must maintain timely completion of all required education, trainings, and certifications as assigned and in accordance with Bozeman Health policies, department-specific requirements, applicable certification program
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated ability to independently perform polysomnography (PSG) testing and associated patient care activities.
✓Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times.
✓Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality.
✓Learns current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health.
✓Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
✓Analyzes, organizes, and prioritizes work while meeting multiple deadlines.
✓Demonstrate the Bozeman Health SPIRIT values of: Service, People, Integrity, Respect, Improvement, and Teamwork.
Two (2) years of sleep disorder testing experience or equivalent clinical experience. preferred
Experience performing pediatric sleep studies. preferred

About the role

The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist independently performs comprehensive sleep disorder testing and associated patient care activities, including polysomnography (PSG), electroencephalogram (EEG) testing, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) setup and support, patient education, scoring, and documentation.
