LOCATION : Maluhia | Skilled Nursing Care POSITION STATUS : Temporary, Full-Time with Benefits SALARY RANGE : BU09 | SR20 SALARY RATE: $113,760.00 (Annual Salary) Position may be extended or converted to permanent with Management Approval. JOB DUTIES : Provide general duty nursing at a hospital or institution where assignments may be made to all clinical services or to a particular nursing area. At the III level , nurses are considered fully independent nurses providing care to patients with a minimum of guidance and supervision, and may serve as charge nurses relieving the head nurse on the evening shifts.
HOURS OF WORK : Work is on rotating shifts with two days off each week (may be other than Saturdays and Sundays). Some positions are on permanent shift; however, to be accepted, all applicants must indicate availability for hospital and 24 hour rotating shiftwork, on the Availability Card. Incumbent of this position may also provide services at Leahi Hospital.
THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS ARE: Applicants must meet all of the following requirements. Please note that unless specifically indicated; the required education and experiences may not be gained concurrently. In addition, qualifying work experiences are based on a 40-hour work week.
Applicants must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. NURSING
Six (6) months of professional nursing work experience. SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED: Possession of a master's degree from an accredited college or university school of nursing may be substituted for one year of nursing experience. QUALITY OF

The applicant's overall experience must have been of such scope and level of responsibility as to conclusively demonstrate that he/she has the ability to perform the duties of the position for which he/she is being considered. LICENSE REQUIRED: License to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Hawaii.
