About the role

Implements and delivers a planned course of radiation therapy treatment, according to the prescription of the radiation oncologist.

What you’ll do
Accurately documents details ofAccurately documents details of treatment procedures and maintains daily treatment records
Observes the clinical processObserves the clinical process of the patient undergoing treatment and exercises judgment in withholding treatment when conditions warrant, consulting with the radiation oncologist before proceeding
Simulates and plans aSimulates and plans a course of treatment by defining and identifying tumor, target and target volume, as directed and prescribed by the radiation oncologist
Practices safe protection forPractices safe protection for self and patients adhering to the guidelines of radiation protection and infection control
Detects equipment malfunction andDetects equipment malfunction and takes appropriate action
