Qualifications
✓Good communication skills is required in order to effectively communicate with inter and intra departmental employees, physicians and their office personnel, patients and their family members, and public.
✓The incumbent must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills needed to proficiently provide care to a patient population to include: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
✓New incumbents must or must have complete In Depth hospital orientation as well as Respiratory Care Department specific orientation.
✓This position has the primary responsibility of initiating quality Respiratory Therapy services to patients as well as serving as a resource for physicians, staff, and students.
✓The incumbent will assess, plan, implement , evaluate, and document Respiratory Therapy services administered to patients.
✓It is expected that the incumbent perform, his/her responsibilities in a quality, timely, cost effective, confidential, professional manner conducive with the overall mission/vision of the hospital.
✓The incumbent will have extensive contact with inter and intra departmental personnel, physicians and their office personnel, patients and their family members, and the public.
✓It is imperative that he/she have good communication skills and reflect a positive, caring attitude toward both staff and public.
