The Registered Respiratory Therapist role within the UH Conneaut Medical Center offers a unique chance to become part of a dynamic, collaborative interdisciplinary team. We currently offer an opportunity for a part-time nights , Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patients in our acute care hospital in Conneaut.

This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision.
Mechanical ventilation Medicated aerosol delivery Airway clearance therapy Patient monitoring Oxygen and humidity therapy Special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.) Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Education Associate's Degree in Respiratory (Required) or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory (Required) Work Experience 1+ years Respiratory Therapy (Strongly Preferred) Licenses and Certifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Preferred) Current RCP Ohio License granted by the Ohio Medical Board (Required) AARC membership within 6 months of hire date (Required) NRP Certified (Neonatal facilities) (Required within 6 Months) Position Details/Preferred Qualifications At least one year of recent, critical care experience is strongly preferred.
Must be able to work independently. The position is for (1) 12 hour shift per week and every 3rd weekend with rotating holidays: night shift.
