Respiratory Care Department highlights:Work with a dynamic and knowledgeable teamOver 192 years of experience with our RT staffNew Ventilators onsiteHere’s What You NeedGraduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program is required1 Year Med/Surg or critical care experience preferred is preferred3 years of RRT Experience is strongly preferredRCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner Upon Hire is required AndRRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Upon Hire is required AndBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required AndACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days is required AndNRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required Good verbal communications, good interpersonal skills, computer experienceWhat You Will DoObtains/verifies physician order for therapy and validate for appropriateness.

Demonstrates competence in the performance of age-appropriate patient assessment and individualizes care based on age specific needs. 35%Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment. Performs treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license. Administers medication in a safe/correct manner, adhering to medication administration guidelines.
