The Registrar is responsible for managing all facets of the operations of the Registrar Office. The Registrar is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of all student records, electronic files, and hard copy files for current and former students and graduates of all School of Health Sciences Programs in accordance with school policy, FERPA, accreditation, and Federal regulations. This individual will coordinate class registrations, withdrawal processes, transcript reviews, and enrollment changes in direct consultation with Program Directors, Coordinators, and college vendors.
The Registrar may provide administrative support services to the Enrollment Director and the Admissions Office.
Maintenance of student records: Maintains and updates student, former student, and graduate files to assure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements and in accordance with school and program specific policy and procedure. Updates records to reflect demographic information changes. Purges records of students, former students, and graduates according to policy and procedures.
Enters and maintains academic records/grades, transcript and credit information, and course information; notifies appropriate enrollment staff. Registers students for courses, completes enrollment changes, and updates class registrations, schedules, and enrollment data. Prepares and distributes semester grade reports, transcripts, schedules, and enrollment verifications.
Enters courses in GradPro each program throughout the academic year. Collaborates with Financial Aid Department regarding enrollment, and the reporting of enrollment to required agencies (example Clearinghouse). Maintains documentation and provides reports on enrollment/attrition/retention/graduation and transcript requests.
Processes all requests for release of records, transcripts, and education verifications. Participates in program enrollment teams; prepares reports, and other essential information that supports team goals. Serves as liaison with college vendor for review of transcripts, transfer credits, course rosters, enrollment changes, reports, and grades.
Researches and resolves registration, curriculum plan, and transcript issues in a timely manner and communicates status to internal and external customers. Collaborates on strategies to improve registrar and enrollment operations and procedures. Works collaboratively with admissions enrollment team to provide assistance with enrollment processes as needed and determined by Director of Enrollment which includes participation in weekend and/or evening recruitment events.
