You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current license to practice in Texas in rehab-specific discipline (SLP, OT, PT).
Certifications
✓Current CPR training required.
Education
✓Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited SLP, OT, or PT program required. May consider Associate's Degree from accredited PTA or OTA program with Masters degree in a field related to the position, e.g. business or information technology.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of appropriate therapy discipline principles and procedures.
✓Effective oral and written communication skills.
✓Ability to understand, use and teach the principles of performance improvement.
✓Ability to evaluate quality/performance issues and present data to other professionals in a clear concise manner.
✓Proficient in analytical assessment and creative problem solving.
✓Strong technical skills in a wide variety hardware, software and operating systems.
✓Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Associates and customers.
✓Ability to collaborate with end users, team members, and management in projects and Hospital operational issues.
✓Three years of professional clinical experience (inpatient or outpatient) in Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy required.
One year of experience working with performance or quality improvement initiatives and information systems preferred.
