You’ll need
Licensure
✓Must have state licensure and the national certification requirements met.
Education
✓Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Must have state licensure and the national certification requirements met.
Qualifications
✓With educational requirements met, no prior experience is necessary. One year in a hospital is preferred. Ability to fabricate all varieties of splints is also preferred.
✓Bedside manner. Genuine concern for completeness and organization. Have a working knowledge of policies and procedures. Additionally, the incumbent shall understand this position may require varied hours and weekend work, as dictated to meet the patient’s needs.
✓Accurate, mature, flexible person who is meticulous to detail. Demonstrates responsibility to patient / employee confidentiality.
